"Chicago Public Schools officials gave away a car Monday to a student with perfect attendance for a three-month portion of the school year."
I don't know what's crazier--that the CPS is bribing middle-schoolers with cars to attend class, or that it only took one-third of a school year of perfect attendance. Is Oprah behind this?

Makes you wonder if anyone in that CPS meeting suggested a potentially more useful incentive, such as, ohh, I don't know... "BICYCLES!"!?!
