The dirt-slinging-fest former Victory Records VP Ramsey Dean posted at AbsolutePunk.net about label head Tony Brummel is, er, compelling reading. The original post was taken down not too long after it went up, but the Google cache of it lingers here.

Holy crap, that's the best thing I've read since Ronin Ro's book about Death Row Records.

I guess if one can't be hardcore in a good way, being a hardcore jerk to the talent is the next best thing.
