The Flosstradamus boys don't put out original tracks too often, so it's a pleasant surprise to see one turn up on Mountain Dew's Web site/imprint/advertisement Green Label Sound. Another surprise about "Big Bills" is that it's in a whole different area code from the Flossies' usual rave/crunk jams, pairing Chairlift vocalist Caroline Polachek with an uncharacteristically restrained Euro-electro track. The result is probably the most chill and poppy thing that Flosstradamus has ever touched. I know they've been talking about being burned out on bloghouse. Maybe they're fixing to pull a Kanye by ditching the neon Wayfarers and making a grown-up record.
