I was in a store last week when I suddenly heard Mr. T's voice. I looked around to see where he was--alas, he was nowhere to be found, but then I caught a glimpse of someone answering a cell phone that was apparently equipped with a Mr. T ringtone.

I'm woefully out of touch when it comes to ringtone technology, but now the old fogey in all of us can get with the program: last week Blue Note Records announced that it's in the process of creating ringtones from classic riffs played by the likes of Art Blakey, Thelonious Monk, Ornette Coleman, Herbie Hancock, Lee Morgan, and several others. Is there anything you can't buy to further brand yourself?
