Three years ago Ben Affleck was a walking punch line, star of Daredevil, Gigli, Paycheck, Surviving Christmas, and the tabloid monster known as Bennifer. Now he's directed one of the year's best pictures, Gone Baby Gone, adapted from a novel by Dennis Lehane (Mystic River). Affleck and his little brother, Casey, who stars in the movie and also walks away with The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, will appear tonight at the Music Box at 7 PM for the Chicago premiere of Gone Baby Gone.
