Gerald Peary, longtime film critic for the Boston Phoenix and curator of the Boston University Cinematheque, spoke recently with BU Today about his work at the cinematheque, the state of film criticism in the online age, and his new documentary For the Love of Movies: The History of American Film Criticism.
