Dawali Mediterranean Kitchen, at 4911 Kedzie, has its signage up, but the windows are still papered and the phone number doesn't work. I'm fairly certain given the cluster of grapes on the sign that the name references Arabic stuffed grape leaves (warak dawali), and not the Hindu Festival of Lights. Too bad. The neighborhood has plenty of Middle Eastern restaurants, but it sure could use some Indian food.
