Tomorrow night Millennium Park will host a free live broadcast of the Chicago Opera Theater's modern update of the Mozart classic Don Giovanni. The performance will be staged at the Harris Theater and simultaneously projected onto a huge screen at the open-air Jay Pritzker Pavilion right next door. At the end of the show the actors will take their bows in front of both audiences conveniently using the backstage area shared by both venues. It's a good idea to bring blankets and pack a picnic--there's more lawn space than proper seating and there won't be concessions.

The show, sung in Italian with English supertitles, starts at 7:30 PM. For more: bshea@harristheaterchicago.org or 312-704-8414.
