Free ESL and literacy courses for adult non-native speakers start Saturday at the Lincolnwood Library (4000 W. Pratt). Students will be tested on the first day of class to assess level of fluency; the ESL class is for beginners and the literacy course for intermediate speakers. Participants must be 18+ or high school graduates.

ESL classes take place Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM through August 12. Literacy classes are Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM through August 23. Call 847-677-5277 for details.
