Saddle Creek's Son Ambulance will play a free 6 PM set tomorrow at Reckless Records (3161 N. Broadway) in case you can't make it to the later show at Schubas. Son Ambulance is primarily the solo project of Joe Knapp, a longtime Bright Eyes collaborator who ditched Oberst's overwrought whininess in favor of melancholic folk musings.
