This event was pathetic--Potbelly Sandwiches did not show up, Intelligentsia Coffee did not offer any coffee, just a chance to win a pound of coffee and a couple of mugs, and the free wine consisted of about eight bottles of wine, slowly meted out as part of a "wine tasting" (good wine, though). Considering the massive advance publicity for this event, I expected more. Most of the vendors who did show up simply left their promo materials on the tables, then vanished, never to be seen again. Is this the best the Reader can do?

The Reader wasn't involved in planning this event. (That said, I went and had a great time.)
