The Chicago Fire Department is hosting a party with live music, safety demos, and free food and drinks this Saturday at the Quinn Fire Academy (558 W. DeKoven) to celebrate its 150th aniversary. There'll be a range of food (hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos), a chili cook-off, soft drinks, fire safety exercises, CPR demonstrations, and a display of new and antique CFD rigs. Everyone's welcome. Hours are 10 AM to 3 PM.
