Envision a mustache on McCain? Kissy lips on Obama? The Chicago Printmakers Collaborative (4642 N. Western) has silk screens of both presidential candidates and their running mates plus complementary screens--a crown, pirate patch, giant X, mustache, kissy lips--to complete the picture. Bring in a T-shirt between noon and 5 PM this Saturday to mix and match your own design. You can also make your own political stamps and buttons; for kids, there'll be color-in drawings of chicks, rabbits, dogs, and other animals serving as surrogates for the traditional party mascots. Red, white, and blue snacks (expect candy and fruit) will be served.

All of this is part of the "Print as Democratic Medium" event, which is being held in conjunction with the CPC's current exhibit, Art of Democracy. Donations are accepted but not required. Call 773-293-2070 for more.
